Rocked at Hard Rock Cafe

Clouds.. when they speak they speak a lot...

It has been raining since I opened my eyes after a heavy sleep  or maybe before that..
God’s grace.. it was an off for me today..
When it is raining you should not spoil your day at workplace until you have to..
Day passes doing those daily activities until the dusk settles.. rather the advent of love..and some poetic thoughts
I watched the white clouds making a run..
They run in masses.. but yet having their own identity..
They are running fast.. trying to compete with each other.. but onnly with ones who are in parallel not with the ones who are already far-off..
Though looking for identity and fame.. but why they are running in the same direction…
They leave some gaps in between through which I see the deep blue sky..
I stand still.. i just wished I had my girl with me..
I would have taken her up on the terrace.
Closing her into my arms.. standing behind her..
Enjoying the breeze that would run past us..
Watching these clouds run… following them to the ends where our eyes lose sight.. or where they merge with the big masses..
Gazing them for sometime.. I see the black clouds follow..
Did they really follow or were the whites were chased out by them..
It was time for them to rule the skies..
Silence is an omen to them.. thus they roar.. they make noise..lightening..thunder..
Everyone one above or below should pay heed to them.. that is their motto..
Their presence and actions keep us all in..
We fear them.. even the other clouds do..
Either they run far off or we find them amongst the blacks..
So well grooved into them that they are no more the white cloud that we used to see..
They live their era, but sooner or later.. we see them disperge..
Silence prevails..
Divided amongst themselves.. they move to distant places.
And we are happy to see the skies clear.. the blue sky is once more blue..
And the Blue colour sprouts out more than it was before..
With this again comes the white clouds with their calmness and serenity..
And peace and merry all around.. above and below…
I wonder.. do not they depict how we live our lives… ?

My Mumbai Story

With no plans at Hyderabad on charts for the new year, I decided to move out to some place else.
Luckily my flat mate (Kabir) , who was on his way to Surat for his new year celebrations had his train via Mumbai.
Without a second thought I packed and moved out along with him.
Having less than 2 hours left for the train to come I was not issued a sleeper class ticket, took a general ticket and boarded the train.
And the general scenario was on repeat, with the TTE showing its presence in the compartment I had to waste some time at the stinking toilets of Indian Railways.
Found a good looking girl with her bags, sitting in the same channel as we were.
She too did not have a reserved ticket.
So we shared our seat with her.
1 seat – 3 people (Kabir, the owner, Me, and the good looking girl)
After an hour we saw an old man who was without any ticket was too feeble to walk straight , had been looking for a seat.
The girl was emotionally sound, so she asked us to give the old man a seat.
Now, the scene changes drastically.
On the seat we have Mr. X (owner of the other seat), Girl, and the old man.
Me and kabir are standing. :-P
The night begins with lots of conversations, now we know each other.
The girl is too elder than me (ALAS!!!) working in an IT company at Hyderabad, going to Pune to celebrate New year.
And Mr. X was a level apart.
He was the personal tax assistant to the richest Indian Mukesh Ambani.

Soon after the train crosses Pune starts the scenic beauty of Maharashtra.
Caves, hills.. the view runs short of words but not feelings.
Afternoon 1.30 p.m, I step on the soil of Maharashtra, Dadar station.
Journey begins with the world famous Mumbai sub-urban trains.
Asked a young dude, “which way to catch the train to Parel?”.
The guy moved on without paying heed.
My heart speaks aloud, “Welcome to Mumbai. Here people do not care who you are or what you do. All are busy with their own life.” And it was somewhat also due to the long heard stories about the life of Bombay.
But I was wrong. From that instance, whomsoever I met and asked, people had kindly responded to my queries and responded correctly unlike Del*i where people misguide you.
From parel station, had gone to Worli to Mahindra Towers.
The headquartes of our owners (Mahindra Satyam).
Scene III
Place: Sakinaka
Staying at a 1 bhk flat of a friend, and on the next 2 days we had a stay of 12 people in that.
I suppose, there is no need of detail description of how we adjusted.
31st night
We go to Andheri to have our dinner and receive few friends, from there we go to Juhu.
Saw BiG B’s bangla’s and all some other biggies too.
Though they were not at all attractive from outside, I hope they are not the same from inside.
On our way to Juhu beach we were blocked by the Police as they had close Juhu beach early due to security reasons.
But I must say, the Bombay crowd is the best at parties and at night.
Girls coming out of disco’s, drunk, having no control on themselves and needless to mention ‘they look Too Pretty!!’
Scene IV
From there I take a cab to Marine Drive.
That means I chose to travel from extreme North to extreme south.
Drove over sea link. (awesome view)
Walked down the lane near Chowpaati..
Wooo.. the view is awesome, and they rightly call it the Queen’s Necklace, because the street lights are so arranged in an arc that it resembles so.
Movinng near to Churchgate. Met a college friend. Enjoyed and came back.
But repent as the 31st night went dry.
1st January
Caught a train to CST (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus), the gateway to Gateway of India.

Was catching up the sea and the ships, when all of a sudden my friend pointed out to me Raveena Tandon.
I could not make out and ignored saying she must be some foreigner.
But to my amazement she was it. She was Raveena Tandon, as white as milk.
Soon the crowd gathered and she was escorted by police.
I silently said to myself, ‘what’s good if you come to Bombay and do not see a film star!!’
Scene II
We boarded the ship for the sea tour.
The wind was brushing my hairs and wiping across my face.
It was calm and serene scene view from the dock, and I felt like spending some another 100 years there.
The TajMahal Palace was at its beauty with lights lit all around.
Scene III
After a tedious day we moved back to the place where 12 people had to spend their night under 1 roof.
There was a birthday boy Pritam. And no matter even if you have a broken leg, you would stand up to celebrate your friends birthday. So we did. We celebrated it with all joys.
The superhit Nagin performance by Atul was the show stealer.
With this we ended and soon our eyes were shut due to tiredness.
2nd January
Powai, the place is well known for having an IIT at its region, IIT Bombay. Heera Nandani to be specific. The place is simply an artificial world around you.
You would not feel you are In India with those gigantic structures having a roman touch and with the particular cream colour bath on all of them.
The appeal was more than just being splendid.
We had been to KFC for pritam’s bday.
The veg Zinger Burger though not as good as Mc Donald’s but was large enough to fill your tummy for a while.
The meal ended with an ice-cream and the very delicious dish of KFC Choc Amor. Yum!!
Soon the day settled in and we came back.
Having 2 one of the wonderful days of my life, I left the city (Mumbai) that never sleeps.
